Habitat for Humanity: Lending a friendly hand
Building a home for a family in need, is by far one of the greatest feelings we can bestow on someone. For many, tears of joy are not far behind. At Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit Christian program, their premise is that everyone should have a home that is safe and affordable to live in. Habitat for Humanity is volunteer-based and offers programs all around the world, in locations like Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, as well as throughout the United States. They offer short term volunteer programs that run one to two weeks, all the way through programs that can last from six to twelve months.
